Kalyani Priyadarshan (Tamil actress)

Kalyani Priyadarshan is a Tamil actress who appears predominantly in Tamil movies and other south Indian language movies and Bollywood. The actress is basically from Kerala and was born to the film director Priyadarshan and her mother Lissy is a Malayalam actress.

However, the marriage between the Kalyani’s parents was called off in 2014. Kalyani Priyadarshan has a younger brother namely Sidharth

Kalyani was then shifted to Chennai for her early school and she went to Lady Andal School, Chennai. She then moved to New York for pursuing her engineering course at Parsons School of Design in the same City.

She mentioned that, during the course of her college education, she got driven towards the acting and modeling career for which she did her project in theatre.

Her return to India made her join in the Adishakthi Theatre located in Pondy for learning the acting skill to get features in Indian movies.

Kalyani’s first project in 2013 with Sabu Cyril for the movie Krrish 3 gave her the scenario for the movies which helped her to work with the director of Iru Mugan, featuring Nayanthara and Vikram in lead roles.

The actress mentioned that she learned various aspects of acting and performance during the work got committed to the movie Iru Mugan.

This later made Kalyani Priyadarshan have the talent to feature in the lead role for the movie Hello (2017) opposite the prominent male Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna.
