Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar says Death penalty for rape

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the Tharai Thappatai actress has tweeted about the law enforced (Death penalty for rape) on brutal rapists to be hanged immediately.

There has been a number of child rape cases being registered from all over the country every year. Especially, from recent times, the rape cases are getting brutal and targeting the young girls of age below ten.

The recent Kashmir gang rape case of an 8-year-old girl Asifa, shook the country regarding women’s safety.

As the situation gets worse day by day, while girls of age under ten are becoming victims more often, the government has enforced the law against the rapist.

The law enforced states that, the child rapist (age below 12) will be put to death by hanging as soon as the conviction is proven.

Regarding this, the Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar tweeted that,

“So what happens to teenager and women for get raped..? Death penalty for rape that includes all rape.

No means no, you cannot touch a girl or a women without her consent mobilepackages.. You are violating her in the most brutal way”, Varalaxmi tweeted.

The actress says, no matter the age of the victim. She says a woman is a woman no matter she is 12, a teenager or a woman.

Touching her without her permission is a crime, she further added.
