Varsha Ashwathi is a Tamil heroine born on 22 April 1989 in Kolkata and acted in many Tamil films. She made her acting debut in the movie Peranmai, co-starred Jeyam Ravi.
While she was at her age 4, Ashwathi family shifted to Tamil Nadu and she continues her lifestyle as a South Indian.
Varsha Ashwathi is one among the four NCC girls (Tulsi) who assists Jeyam Ravi in the movie to fight against the US Army intruders into the forest to hinder the satellite launch by the Indian Space research.
She has won ‘Miss Beautiful’ title in the 2006 “Miss” Chennai contest.
Though she has no previous exposure in acting she did well in her next movie Neerparavai, based on the India-Sri Lanka sea border issue. She played the IPS role in the movie inquiring Nandita Das, when she is in the Police custody.
